Turnover
Turnover
The 2022 turnover of our Building and Civils Works activities is up by 5% year-on-year, driven by our international activities. 43% of our revenue will be generated in France and 57% internationally, with 61% in construction and 39% in civils works.
It should be noted that 87% of our forecast business for 2023 was covered by our current backlog at the end of 2022, a higher proportion than in previous years. Our ambition Greenlight ambition is to grow revenue by 5% per year, combining organic growth, major projects and acquisitions.

Order book
Order book
The commercial performance of 2022 has kept its promises on the flow business activities (projects < €100m). At the same time, the contribution of major projects to the order book is down. All in all, our backlog remains at a high level and is slightly higher than at the end of 2021.
Significant new business is expected in the first half of 2023, including the Abidjan Metro, the Oriel Hospital in London, and sections of metro lines in Toulouse, France, and Hong Kong. Major Projects business is currently very strong, driven by the high demand for low-carbon mobility and energy infrastructure. It remains very dynamic in our subsidiaries, driven by the need for new and renovated housing and public facilities.

The current operating profit (COP*) is solid and show an improvement of 0,4 points in an unfavourable economic context (shortages and inflation). It thus exceeds the COP target we set at the beginning of the year. Our Greenlight 2027 ambition of 4% operating profit is based on our differentiation and competitiveness levers, as well as on a high degree of selectivity and rigour in the management of major projects. It is up to us to implement them, together and with confidence.

Cash flow
Cash flow
Bouygues Construction’s cash position remains at a record level: it is a resource for investment, a protection against risks, and a very important economic indicator for both Bouygues Construction and Bouygues SA. It’s the contribution of our projects, a performance that is built up every day of the year, and it is up to us to protect it: small streams make big rivers!
All mobilised for a responsable and rentability growth !
Three lever to achieve our 2027 turnover target :
► The first lever is organic growth in the countries where we have a long-term presence. It is based on our knowledge of the markets, increased support for our clients, the establishment of business lines and growth in property development activities.
► The second lever is major infrastructure and building projects, with greater control over commitments and the execution of projects.
► Finally, the third lever is external growth and future acquisitions in our target countries: USA, Germany and Australia
And strong commitments to responsible growth, an ambitious reduction of CO2 emissions by 2030, and zero serious accident on our sites.
