The international certification agency BSI awarded the ISO 19650 BIM Kitemark™ for Design, Construction and Commissioning to Bouygues Travaux Publics during a ceremony held on 26 September at Challenger. Congratulations to the Bouygues Travaux Publics employees involved in this success!
By becoming the 1st French construction company to obtain this level of certification, Bouygues Travaux Publics is perfectly demonstrating its pioneering spirit, as Laure Parneix underlined in her opening speech.
By becoming the first major civil works company in France to be certified, in addition to demonstrating our expertise in BIM, we are clearly showing our ambition and our ability to invest in the more mature markets that now expect this level of practice, particularly in the UK.
Laure Parneix Technical director @Bouygues Travaux Publics
This certification, the fruit of several months of collaborative work between Bouygues Travaux Publics and BSI, is the result of several years of conviction and investment in the digital transformation of our business and our projects. The Kitemark level achieved reflects :
- Our ability to apply BIM processes and tools on a daily basis at the heart of our projects and our alignment with current best practice
- The satisfaction of our customers and the commitment of all our teams, both operational and technical, to digital transformation.
We would like to warmly congratulate all the teams involved, especially those in the Operations and Digital Processes department of the Technical Division, led by Estelle Cagnat, and those working on the projects in the UK: HS2 (in the production phase) and LTC (in the bid preparation phase). Their commitment and expertise were key to this success.
