Return on the Safety Day of Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest
On Monday 17 January, all Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest site teams took a break to remind themselves of the company's priority: safety for all and zero accidents. The morning's agenda included a 2021 review, a 2022 action plan and four practical workshops.
After a year 2021 in which our safety results deteriorated, the teams at Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest took a simultaneous break from work on all their sites in order to reiterate their primary commitment: safety for all. Philippe Robinaud, President of Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest, takes a look back at the 2021 health and safety report.
The primary objective of this health and safety day is to get everyone back together. We have an individual and collective responsibility for safety. Our determination, with the Management Committee, is total to remedy all the situations at risk and we will be there to accompany you.

President of Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest
The production managers of the 4 regions also gave an assessment and presented the areas of improvement for their area. Following these speeches and to end the morning, the companions participated in practical workshops reflecting the reality of the field around :
- Individual and collective protection
- Traffic on the site
- Lifting
- Reactions to a risky situation
This day was an opportunity to remind us of our objectives in terms of health and safety, and to remind us that everyone must be a player. Everyone must take care of their health and that of their colleagues. To follow up on this safety day and to continue the work on individual behaviours, three other meetings will take place in 2022, in April, June and September.
