The last segment of Pelješac bridge over the Adriatic Sea will be erected at the end of July. This 2404m-long bridge is equipped with a composite bridge deck, supported by a cable-stayed structure with 6 pylons. VSL provided the technology for this cable-stayed structure, the technical assistance for its installation and the post-tensioning of the concrete pier tables. The Pelješac bridge will link the Northern and Southern regions of Croatia that are physically separated by Bosnia-Herzegovina’s short coastal strip at Neum.
