The operation, orchestrated by Atelier du Pont and located on the edge of the La Courneuve district, is the first to be completed for the Fort de l’Est Joint Development Zone.

The newly arrived occupants already enjoy access to their communal spaces, and have begun cultivating the vegetable garden that extends over 4 separate terraces. Judging by the many smiling faces encountered around the property, the quality of resident support provided by Habitat Social is plain to see!

The build incorporates two types of facades:

  • on the street-facing side, the facades areclad with hand-moulded slabs and metallic finishings set flush against the joists.
  • on the garden side, they are made from stained concrete.

The team made every effort to accommodate a high level of career insertion throughout the construction project: the initial objective was exceeded by 15%, with support provided for 6 hires on a full-time equivalent basis.

The project carries the RT2012 – 20% certification, as well as the HF Habitat HQE label (entry level).
