Align is constructing the Colne Valley Viaduct, which will be the UK’s longest railways bridge and an iconic feature of HS2 in the UK.
In August, Align commenced work constructing the viaduct deck over the A412, a busy road used by local residents and commuters.
Last week, Align completed the crossing and re-opened the road at night, exactly on schedule. The amount of work that was involved in completing this successfully is testament to great teamwork and collaboration at Align. Multiple functions, sub-contractors and suppliers, including VSL, had to work together to ensure this highly visible section of the viaduct was delivered safely, on time and with minimal disruption.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
