On December 22, the Grenoble-based teams signed a design-build contract with Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône-Alpes worth €13.4 million.

Conducted in a consortium with the architect Ludmer&Bouvier, the technical design office Thermi-Fluides and the building environmental quality design office Alterea, the project involves the renovation and redevelopment of the 7,680 m2 bank administration site located in Corenc, on the outskirts of Grenoble (38).

The program includes:

- an energy renovation, including in particular the change of the joineries and occultations, the insulation of the facades from the outside, the implementation of a surface geothermal system for the heating and cooling of the site, the relamping by LED lights, or the installation of a Building Technical Management to allow the regulation and the piloting of the energy systems,

- a reorganization of the interior spaces: new distribution of spaces and realization of all associated works.

The design studies have just started. The next step is to submit the building permit during the first quarter of 2023, so that work can begin in July 2023 for a period of 18 months.

Congratulations to all the employees involved in this new operation!

Did you know that?
On this site, the heating/cooling will be provided by a dry geothermal system using directional drilling probes. In concrete terms, this involves the construction of 6 boreholes, each 200 linear meters long, equipped with U-shaped probes in which a heat transfer fluid circulates to exchange calories and frigories with the subsoil.

Compared to the traditional vertical drilling technique, the directional drilling allows for slanted boreholes. Thus, where the traditional technique would have required nearly 500 m2 of land, the 6 directional drilling probes will only require a ground surface equivalent to a parking space!
