The final designs for the North Portal of the Chiltern Tunnel have now been revealed which means that Align has completed the entire Detailed Design for the Central 1 section of HS2 Phase One, that it is delivering. Working with its design partners in Align D - Jacobs, Rendel-Ingerop and LDA design, and its architects Grimshaw, Align is the first of the Main Works Civils Contractors working on HS2 to get the Detailed Design of all the assets within scope, fully signed off.

Align’s Technical Director, Alan Price said:
“This is a significant achievement for both Align and our design partners in Align D. Having the design on the shelf releases procurement and allows complete flexibility to optimise the construction programme.”

Congratulations to the Align team. Take a look at the project design!
