For the 5th consecutive year, 15 female employees from Bouygues Travaux Publics, Bouygues Construction Expertises Nucléaires and Bouygues Travaux Publics Régions France will be mentored by senior managers. These mentors will be keen to share their experience and provide them with support and advice to help them develop their careers.

On the agenda: discussions, meetings and a host of inspiring testimonials in the presence of mentors and mentees from previous promotions.

Gender diversity promotes creativity and performance. I believe fundamentally in the power of the collective. What makes this force is the multiplicity of viewpoints, backgrounds and skills of each individual. We need to promote gender diversity and equal opportunities for women and men.

In his opening speech, Bertrand Burtschell, Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Travaux Publics, emphasised Bouygues Travaux Publics' commitment to women and the importance of opening the doors of construction and engineering to them, before launching the conference led by Gisèle Szczyglak "Does leadership have a gender?

Biographie Gisèle Szczyglak
A doctor of political philosophy, executive coach and entrepreneur, Gisèle Szczyglak founded the consultancy WLC Partners. This company works with organisations to develop collective intelligence. An expert in mentoring and women's careers, Gisèle is involved in women's professional networks. She is also involved in major groups, international programmes at ENA, CHEMI and SGG, international forums and conferences dedicated to the professional development of women and their impact on the economic sphere. She has published several books on mentoring and the place of women in business.

Gisèle Szczyglak and Denise Christmann, from the consultancy WLC Partners, were present throughout the day and will be supporting the promotion over the coming year.

For me, it's been a wonderful human adventure, a wonderful encounter with my mentor. A relationship based on confidence and confidentiality, a relationship of mutual help, exchange and learning. This programme has enabled me to dare to act differently.

Very humbly, I want to share my experience, be a "mirror" and help my mentee to see things better, to see and know herself better. All the resources available to women to help them develop their careers are very important. We need to give them the confidence they need to take the time to reflect on their career path, and this mentoring programme for women is an excellent way of doing that.

The 15 new Mentee/Mentor teams got to know each other and benefited from their coaches' first tips and advice as they embarked on this human and professional adventure. 
Over the past 5 years, 60 female employees have been mentored, and some of them have become mentors themselves!
