As a major patron of the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research, Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to develop a sustainable scientific culture and the preserve heritage. Situated at the crossroads of several scientific fields, preventive archaeology studies the material traces of civilisations, from Prehistory to the contemporary period. Enhancing our knowledge of societies who went before us, gives us a better insight into our present-day world.

In 2021, the EAD focus on the archaeology’s backstage and allow everyone to discover sites or collections that are usually closed to the public: Opening up digs, learning and fun activities, museum reserves, behind-the-scenes looks at exhibitions and labs, creation workshops… For three days, over a thousand events accessible to all will be unfolding across France!
