Bouygues Thai will be erecting yet another archetypal building in the center of Bangkok, due to be delivered in June 2024. Standing at 202m high with a GFA of 118,000m², 46 storeys, and 4 basements for 799 cars, the Summit Tower will welcome both offices and a hotel (Marriot), the latter with a capacity of 350 keys. Inclined posts follow the curve and slope of the building, which includes a glass observation platform with 6m cantilever.
The complexity of this project resides in its deep excavation, a big mat foundation covering the whole area, and a sensitive environment adjacent to the residential condominium. To tackle the challenges, an innovation on method of construction was developed to maintain 6 days per floor all while preserving high protection in the worksite.
With major high-end references such as The Esse, Banyan Tree Residences, or the MahaNakhon Tower, Bouygues Thai continues its journey of drawing the skyline of Bangkok. Pioneer in construction, the company’s strong input on value engineering of structure and on facade & MEP is key to sticking to the client targeted budget, thus building client loyalty and delivering turn-key top-tier quality buildings.
