The Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est teams in Auvergne-Loire-Drôme-Ardèche signed a design-build contract with Habitat & Métropole on March 22 for an amount of €10.6 million.

Carried out in a consortium with the Ateliers d'architecture Jean-Luc Mathais and Projet D, the design offices CETEB Ingénierie - INGENIUM (high/low current and heating/thermal fluids), BEBC (plumbing/ventilation fluids), B Ingénierie (VRD ), ICOBA (structures), LEI (asbestos removal / deconstruction), the economist CM Economiste and the landscape architect Paysages Brunnera, this project involves renovating 126 housing units in 8 buildings located in the Tarentaize II district in Saint- Stephen (42).

On the program for this operation of nearly 10,000 m2:
- rehabilitation of 107 dwellings and demolition of 19
- demolition of association premises located overhanging the ground floor and extension of association premises located rue Gouttebarge
- demolition and reconstruction of a family planning center
- creation of a restaurant on Place Roannelle.

Our sales teams were able to make a difference with our client, mainly thanks to two proposals:
- enhancement of the ground floor with the creation of a restaurant that will help revitalize the neighborhood
- the relocation and reconstruction of the family planning center which will offer a new building, completely redesigned and benefiting from better on-site accessibility.

It should also be noted that the project aims to obtain the BBC Renovation and NF Habitat labels. Its energy performance will be optimized, in particular thanks to the installation of 510 m2 of photovoltaic panels on the roof:
- the energy produced will be used in winter for heating the dwellings
- in summer, an innovative device set up in partnership with the Energiestro company will store the energy generated thanks to concrete flywheels which will then restore it in the common equipment (elevators, etc.).

Next step in sight: the start of works in November 2023 for a period of 35 months in order to deliver the operation in October 2026.

Congratulations to all the employees involved in this new operation, representative of our know-how in terms of rehabilitation on an occupied site.
