Areas without mobile connectivity are commonly referred to as “dead zones”. This applies to the Moidieu-Détourbe commune in the Isère department (south-east France). The heli-transport operation was conducted as part of the New Deal project, with the aim of providing 3G, 4G and 5G coverage to the rural area with support from Axione branch teams.

The 36-metre antenna tower was installed on the estate of France’s Forestry Commission (Office National des Forêts – ONF). Hélicoptère de France (HDF) atiheli-transported the tower using a Super Puma helicopter.

Congratulations to our teams involved!
