A year ago, Alexis Hanquinquant, an employee of Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest, supported by the Citizen Initiatives Committee, was crowned paratriathlon champion of the world, Europe, and France for the second year in a row.

Alexis, close to his Norman roots, is elected Norman sportsman of the year by the journalists of the region. He also receives the medal of honor from the city of Yvetot (76).
Winter 2018-2019
Alexis has increased the trainings and sport internships: CREPS PACA in Saint-Raphael, INSEP, sport internship at Monté Gordo in Portugal, mountain, sea ... Places that allow you to train in optimal conditions.

Alexis had the honor of being the sponsor of the Bouygues team participating in the Heart Race and traversed the first 10 kilometers along with them.
The Heart Race is a 24h-hour, 750 km relay race lasting 4 days and 4 nights in order to raise awareness of organ transplantation and need for organ donation.

Alexis wins the first round of the world Paratriathlon cup in Milan in 58.41 minutes. A time that portends more good to come!

The championship continues with the second round of the world cup. This time, heading for the Land of the Rising Sun in Yokohama, a sports field that Alexis knows because he had raced on that track in 2017.

Alexis finished 2nd in the Test Event in Tokyo, a scouting event for the 2020 Olympics. This is a duathlon race (cycling - running). He finished second because of a bacterium in the water and particularly difficult climatic conditions.
Coming next
Next stop is August 29th to September 1st, in Lausanne, Switzerland, for the final round of the World Championship, a key date in the Paralympic standings for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
