Organised since 1961, the Cross du Figaro -a cross-country competition in a natural setting- kicked off the 2017 Telethon.
AFM-Téléthon is an association of parents and patients whose aim is to cure diseases which for a long time were considered as incurable. Since 1958, this charity has been committed to combatting rare illnesses which lead to muscle degeneration, neuromuscular diseases.
Over the 2 days, some 5,000 runners crossed the finish line after sweating during a course of their choice - over 5, 10, 15 or 20 kms.
The sporting event took place under the banner of togetherness, sharing and solidarity.
A huge thank-you and well done to all our runners!
