In 1997, Bouygues Group teamed up with the Versailles Val-d’Oise – Yvelines Chamber of Commerce to create the Gustave Eiffel Centre, the prime mission of which is to provide block-release training for young adults under the age of 30 in the specialisms of Construction, Energy and Tertiary buildings, and to help employees develop new skills.

I’ve been pleased by the centre’s development over the years and am proud of the trust placed in us by block-release students and their families, as well as partner centres and businesses. We owe this success to the close relationships that exist between all the players involved.

Jean Manuel Soussan President of the Gustave Eiffel Centre

Today, the Gustave Eiffel Centre delivers training through 17 courses, ranging in level from NVQ to Master’s equivalent, and attended by a total of more than 500 block-release students at the Pôle Alternance and around 1,500 trainees at the Pôle Formation for vocational and integrational training.  On the strength of its history, network and experience, the Centre is able to deal with evolutions in the sector’s specialisms and to accompany businesses in their recruiting strategy.
