The event brought together three generations of Edwards family, some past Company Directors, Senior Managers and the current staff from A W Edwards, Rintoul and Linkcity. One of the highlights of the night included the screening of a video which chronicled the history of the company from the early days through to today. Another highlight was  the cutting of the cake by Stanley Edwards - son of Austin William who was joined onstage by his own sons, Bruce and Malcolm and grandchildren including Cameron who still works in the business.

With an impressive portfolio of projects, this milestone provided the opportunity to look back on the company’s most significant achievements.

Whether it is the historic Queen Victoria Building Restoration, the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, or the Blacktown Hospital, all of these landmark projects have one thing in common: they are the fruit of 100 years of expertise, backed by the core values that characterise A W Edwards. Namely respect for people, long-term commitment and the dedication to deliver quality buildings.

With this powerful identity and various ongoing projects including  the Crows Nest Metro Station, Darlington Public School, and numerous Data Centre projects, the company maintains its strong presence and standing within the Australian construction industry. Hopefully A W Edwards will continue to build and shape their future for the next 100 years !
